Confessions from a Mom (and Dad) and Pet problems

No pictures here but just thought I would share this crazy story.

A few weeks ago Klade and I were enjoying our beautiful Sunday afternoon just sitting around on the grass while the kids played, when we suddenly heard Aubree's little voice saying "Mom, Dad, Look!" Klade went to see what she wanted when we walked into our little shed and found Aubree playing with a baby Mouse while Kelton Had a handful of cat food in each hand and was grinning at us and saying "MMMMM" (Please don't Turn us in for Child neglect) Why wouldn't Aubree think that mice are pets? All of the Princesses Like Cinderella, have Mice as their best friends. She was so sad when we told her not to touch them.
Kelton was munching on Cat food that was left over from the cat that disappeared about 5 months ago. Kamree blamed me for the disappearance of the cat. She said it was my fault for buying the yucky cheap kind of cat food. (The cat disappeared 2 days after buying this bag of cat food) Well, apparently Kelton liked it. But after this incident we threw the cat food away.
This leads me to the next story. During the last week of school, Declo Elementary has Second grade Pet day. Well, after a cat that ran away, a stray dog that only shows up on occasion, and being told that mice are NOT Pets. Kamree had to resort to drawing a Picture of a Pet she wished she had only to go to school to learn that some of the kids brought their own HORSES
